Sipping hot cocoas while wearing ugly Christmas sweaters remains unmatched in our holiday to-do lists. But if there's something that will surely make it better - like the star atop the Christmas tree - it would be watching Christmas-themed movies.
Christmas movies are a separate genre. Sure, they reflect the same themes we see all year round, like romance, family, or drama. But they evoke a unique sense of warmth and nostalgia, so we deserve to indulge in them the entire Yule season!
Speaking of holiday flicks, there's no better way to enjoy them than with your loved ones, as you enjoy food and drinks together! This is just what the Holiday Movies on the Square offers to Atlanta as a way to kickstart the holiday cheer.
Kick back, relax, and enjoy all the classic Christmas films that redefined the season. Iconic films such as Santa Clause, New Year's Eve, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Elf will be played at The Plaza at Colony Square every 7 P.M.!
Check out the schedule below:
Each ticket costs $40 and is good for up to 4 people. One ticket reserves you a spot in the Winter Square with a fire pit, plus a bottle of red wine. There will also be dinner service at an additional cost, served by Saints + Council (on December 8 and 15) and Serena Pastificio (on December 22 and 29). All proceeds during this event will be donated to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Grab your thick, cozy blankets and rally forth to The Plaza! Surely there is nothing better than spending Christmas in Atlanta!
