Ready, get set, and run at the world’s largest 10K race!
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race is held every 4th of July and has been growing its passionate running community for more than 50 years. Every year, tens of thousands of runners participate in the race, both in person and virtually. This year, the race will commence at Lenox Square and Virtual!
The AJC Peachtree Road Race has held its title as the world’s largest 10K race since its inauguration in the 1970s. Starting with only 110 runners in its first year, it has grown passionately and has now become a citywide tradition, with over 70,000 amateur and professional runners vying for one of the 60,000 available spots. The event also includes a wheelchair race (the Shepherd Center wheelchair division), which takes place prior to the footrace. However, the race is mostly known for its coveted AJC Peachtree Road Race T-shirt, which is given to all event finishers.
Presented by Atlanta Track Club, all members can enjoy discounted tickets available for $42, and they will not be placed lower than start wave M.
