You know it’s something good when it comes back every year - and it even keeps getting better! Case in point: The ATLWKNDR!
We have all heard of it. They always had a full house, beaming with music, fun, and everything you’re looking for in a festival. But if you think they can’t take it up a notch, you’re wrong. For their 10th year anniversary, ATLWKNDR once again raises the bar!
From September 2-6, the annual soul, house, and Afro music festival will host their events at various locations across the state. If you have come to the previous festivals, this year, most of the venues will be the same. They have once again partnered with previous Atlanta Weekender-branded events for the venues! But keep your eyes set for the Edgewood Club District in Atlanta's Old 4th Ward neighborhood, since most of the events will be held there!
Gentle reminder, all of the venues only take 10 minutes by car, so you can maximize the experience!
Looking back at how much this festival has grown is amazing. In its debut year, there were only 12 DJs, but now, they have almost 40!
The Atlanta Weekender is organized by Salah Ananse, DJ Kemit, Kai Alce & Ramon Rawsoul - the DJs for the yearly event House In The Park, which has an attendance of 10,000+ each year. There will be lots of fun activities lasting for the whole weekend, so that thousands of guests who will be flying in will surely enjoy it!
Here’s what to expect for the whole weekend:
