Spring is here, and with it comes the most beautiful blooms of Atlanta!
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is open to kick off spring with the Garden Party happening on March 25, 2023! Dress up in your garden chic attire and bring your family and friends to this one of a kind ticketed event.
Explore the beautiful flowers like roses, tulips, and daffodils in their full bloom as you sip wine, cocktails, and refreshments from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You can also bring the springtime into your humble abode, thanks to the floral design and demonstrations in the Rose Garden by Mary Delia Poynter of M.Delia Designs for Lucy's Market will delight guests.
Of course, there’s more than just flowers for the Garden Party. A trip down to the Skyline Garden will also elevate the experience by filling the air with ballroom dance lessons and classical jazz. You can also rock out on the Great Lawn to live performances of true Southern Rock vibes, as well as modern performances by Terminus Ballet set to Johnny Cash music. Strings and bluegrass music accompany your stroll through Storza Woods, while fireflies, flowers, and other southern creatures dance around you.
If you start to fancy a bite, head down to the Day Hall Farmers' Market, where you can take a break and enjoy the well-known southern-inspired cuisine. Garden Party sells some southern light bites, but no dinner portions are available. The Garden's full-service restaurant, Longleaf, will be open. Chef Virginia Willis will also perform a live chef demonstration for VIPs, perfect for adding some Coastal South rhythm to the afternoon.
