Ready to explore Georgia’s local Christmas village?
Now that Christmas is almost here, everyone is abuzz with holiday cheer. We’re all cozying up with our warm sweaters as we sip hot cocoa from our Christmas mugs. But what really sets our mood is seeing houses light up with beautiful decor and sparkling lights. If you’re looking for the perfect place to see these halls decked with boughs of holly, look no further, as Grant Park will do it all for you as they light up the neighborhood once again.
Now in its 40th year, the Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes is a festive evening stroll through the holiday-decorated homes in Atlanta’s historic neighborhood. Several activities and entertainment will accompany it, such as the Artist Market and Bake Sale. It will feature over 15 local artists in the Sanctuary of St. Paul United Methodist Church (UMC). In the past years, artists have sold artwork, books, candles, clothing, food, handmade crafts, holiday decorations, jewelry, wooden toys, and other items. On the other hand, the Bake Sale will offer hot beverages, sweets, and treats to raise funds for a donation. It will be open from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
The artists and sellers on the day include:
In addition to these, there will also be food trucks from Coffyn Pynes and Down at Camp BBQ.
Aside from these product offerings, the Tour of Homes will host other events, such as the Winter Wonderland, Children’s Christmas Pageant Dress Rehearsal, and Candlelight Concert.
This event also aims to raise funds for the benefit of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool, and the Grant Park Parent’s Network.
Tickets are available on the Tour of Homes website. Tickets are $25 each online until midnight on December 9 and $30 each in the church's sanctuary from 5:30 p.m. on December 10 to 11. All children aged 12 and under may enter for free.
