Experience art like never before at the Piedmont Park Arts Festival!
Named as one of the TOP 100 Arts Festival in the Nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine, the Piedmont Park Summer Arts Festival is a two-day outdoor event presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces for people of all ages, customs, and interests, with an emphasis on visual arts and family fun. Piedmont Park, a Midtown neighborhood, is home to one of Atlanta's largest and most enthusiastic art-buying communities. The Piedmont Park Summer Arts and Crafts Festival revitalizes Atlanta's arts community.
This vivid and colorful event will happen on August 19 to 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday.
Up to 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalworkers, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters will participate in this event! The Festival will also feature artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a children's play area, and healthy festival foods and beverages.
The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, LLC, which also partners with the fall fine arts Chastain Park Arts Festival and more than a dozen other events, organizes the Piedmont Park Summer Arts Festival, along with a board of experts in various artistic disciplines. The festival will uphold the highest standards of arts support and provide an environment for participating artists to cultivate an appreciation for their abilities.
The jury will choose a local charity or scholarship that supports the arts to benefit from this event. The Piedmont Park Summer Arts & Crafts Festival will become a successful annual tradition in our community with the help of our contributors and partners. This AFFPS-hosted event is organized by artists for artists.
