If you think that Taste Urban is a food event, we’d hate to break it to you, but it’s more than that! This event celebrates Atlanta’s finest culinary talents, from sumptuous food to irresistible wine! It’s a sampling event of various Black-owned businesses in Atlanta, from different caterers, bakers, wine or liquor brands, and other products and services!

Taste Urban’s April kickoff also focuses on the theme of Black Women Entrepreneurs, which aims to pay homage to Black Women’s history month and the achievements of Black women in business.

What makes Taste Urban extra special is that it isn’t just about food; it is about the entire urban culture. It offers guests a once-in-a-lifetime experience to learn and experience what local, black-owned organizations and goods/service providers have to offer! Additionally, it provides a common ground for foodies and culture to connect and enjoy tasty bites, black heritage, art, music, caterers, chefs, and more.

This year’s Taste Urban event will take place at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, a truly spectacular event venue. It provides a backdrop with character and history, illustrating Atlanta’s popular Westside industrial past and lively present.

Tickets to Taste Urban are available now, from Basic to VIP. The Basic pass costs $20 and provides access to a tasting of all food but not the liquor tastings. You will be able to purchase an alcoholic drink at the cash bar. For the next tier, Premium, you can enjoy more for $45. This ticket includes the food/liquor tastings, additional drinks at the cash bar, and a raffle entry. The best deal, however, is the VIP ticket, which includes all the food and drink tastings, access to a private lounge area, 3 complimentary drinks, food prepared by a private chef, and more.
